I love twitter and I think it’s actually one of my favourite social media platforms. As it is the social media that I am the most social on!
I never used to get twitter and never really liked it until I set up one for blogging and was able to connect with so many different people with a similar interest.
Recently I have connected with some bloggers who are on a mission to improve their health and fitness and have joined a group called 21 days to make a habit!
I love this idea… and I love the group it is a great way for us to connect and share what we have been doing on a daily basis and be held accountable and encourage each other.
Now I admit I haven’t been that active in the group recently with my big move coming up a lot of my time has been spent packing and back and forth to the storage unit… sigh.
Now that I am settled in my new flat and finally have wifi (hurrah) the challenge will begin.
For the next 21 days I have challenged myself to do the following:-
- Increase strength and fitness levels by doing physical activity everyday
I’m going to be really (annoyingly) active on social media for the next 21 days (on twitter) as I am planning to do daily check ins (hold myself accountable).
This challenge for me isn’t about a quick fix to loose weight or make gains! It is as it says on the tin 21 days to make a habit. I would like to become more disciplined and make my health and fitness a part of my daily routine.
I am applying the whole it takes 21 days to make a habit – It takes 90 days to create a lifestyle
In light of this, today is day 1! I didn’t take any pictures in the gym today but I was there I promise. I did an abs class followed by a quick and light leg session.
The very brief leg session consisted of 3 sets of Leg extensions, Angled Leg Press and Hack Squats – does that even count as a session?
Anyway I look forward to posting throughout the session and if you follow me on twitter daily updates 😉
